Crypto exchanges are the start of everything. Without them, buying, and especially, trading crypto is almost impossible. This is why we made this list, to make it convenient for anybody who thinks about getting into cryptocurrency but who doesn’t know what exchange to start with. This article could also help investors who have been buying/selling crypto for a long time but who are not happy with the current exchange they are using.

5. FTX

Some people might wonder why FTX scores this low on the list as it is one of the most used exchanges out there. It is not because we dislike it but it is because it’s all based on derivatives so you won’t get to transfer your crypto out of the exchange. For starters or people who only want to use crypto for profit this won’t be a problem but if you are a true crypto fan it is maybe smart to choose a different exchange.

4. Kucoin

Kucoin is a rising star known for its own coins and dexes and also being one of the exchanges with the lowest number of fees, making it very beginner-friendly. For this reason it is also well used by daytraders. This is one of the bigger exchanges where most Altcoin project start their road to Binance.

3. Crypto.com

Crypto.com is one of the fastest upcoming exchanges around, having an official sponsorship with UFC and the Formula 1. Crypto.com is also able to offer their special Crypto.com creditcards that are available at: https://crypto.com/cards. In addition, their exchange has a very user-friendly interface, ideal for beginners. This certainly is an exchange that we need to keep an eye on.

2. Binance

So this one was quite hard to judge because of the recent news and it being banned in multiple countries like the United Kingdom. However, you can’t deny how sleek and user-friendly their interface is, as well as the number of coins that are available on this platform. The huge success of their Binance Smart Chain also should not be left unmentioned, which made their native coin ($BNB) skyrocket.

1. Coinbase

At first place we’ve put Coinbase / Coinbase pro. Coinbase is one of the most well known and long-existing exchanges that has proven again and again how secure they operate. When using Coinbase pro you almost pay no fees at all. They are one of the only exchanges who tend to work together with governments which we don’t know yet whether this is a positive development.
