How did you become interested in NFT’s and why did you choose Pugs as your NFT’s?
Derek:
Because I love dogs, haha. And in my opinion Pugs are the cutest dogs on the planet. Hence why I chose them as our NFT. 😊
Derek:
To answer your first question, I became intersted in NFT’s by following the hype at first.. not really understanding what all the fuzz was about. But now I really understand the revolutionary aspect of NFT’s. That made me seriously motivated to start my own project. Obviously we took some inspiration from Cryptopunks ^^

Sounds like how we all got started with NFT’s. Atleast I personaly do have a similar story as yours.

Why did you choose 10000 pugs and not another number (less) to make them more rare individualy? Like Etherrock for example?

As I said we took Cryptopunks as inspiration. We really like the aspect that minting will random. Which means that every pug will be unique. Some aspects will be more rare than others. For example minting a gold pug will be a really rare phenomenom.

Have you dedicted on which chain your NFT’s will be minted/stored?

We are very much leaning towards Ethereum. Our only concern are the gas fee’s. Although it is by far still the most popular chain for NFT’s, we feel we have the biggest reach there. But our decision is not yet final.

We are thinking of 0.01–0.03 ETH per PixelPug mint.

That is the idea, we want people to have fun minting each time getting a unique and perhaps rare PixelPug.

Our roadmap should be released tommorow! (if there are no delays) We are also working on our new website which should be released soon. We are very excited!

Well. we are also considering about launching a Token and NFT staking. But I can’t yet say too much about that.

Not at all! We are happy that there are so many creative artists creating their own NFT’s in this space. It’s how its supposed to be! Only have love for these NFT’s artists.

What makes PixelPugsNFT unique?

Good question. If it makes us unique, I can not precisely say. But all our pugs are created with love and crafted with a lot of care. We are very proud about the way the came out. Furthermore we plan to do much more than just release our NFT’s but that will be visible on our roadmap that is soon to come.
We really want to create a big happy PixelPugNFT family! With many events and giveaways! So everyone is welcome.
